Dominican amber, specifically, the fossilized resin pulled out of the ground in the north of the country and worked into gemstones. Artista built the blend around that idea of something golden and long-buried, and the cigar finishes on a note that reads exactly like golden raisin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wrapper is a Dominican Habano the factory grows itself. The binder is a hybrid Olor. The filler is a proprietary blend of Artista-grown Criollo and Dominican Olor. Expect nutmeg early, dried summer fruit and sweet hay through the middle, and a clean sweetness on the finish. Medium body, smooth start to end.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePuro Ambar is one of the oldest lines in the portfolio. Artista reblended it in 2020 and redesigned the band and box for the Artista Series in early 2025.
