ADVentura The Navigator

Rated 92 by Halfwheel. Rated 90 by CigarsLover Magazine. Named Cigar of the Month in September 2017. The Navigator earned all of that in its first year — and it's been one of ADVentura's steadiest sellers since.

Henderson Ventura and Marcel Knobel built the Navigator around a San Andres Mexican wrapper over a Sumatra binder, with fillers from the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. The body is medium. The profile leans earthy — leather up front, caramel and toasted nuts through the middle, a dry wood note in the second half. It's more layered than The Explorer and noticeably smoother. The box-pressed format holds its shape through the entire smoke and softens the draw just enough to open the blend up.

ADVentura ages the raw tobaccos for five years before rolling, then rests the finished cigars for another five to six months. That's not a marketing claim — you can taste it in how cleanly the transitions move.

The Cabral is the fuller expression — more ring gauge, more body, the same profile with less restraint. If you're new to the Navigator, the Francis D is the right starting point.
