Ashton Cigars represent the best of a blend of family traditions. Founder Robert Levin grew up working in the locally famous Holt's Cigar Company in Philadelphia. The shop was owned by his father, and after more than twenty years he took over the family business in the 1970s. His first order of business was expanding the retail footprint to include significant mail-order capabilities. After years of success fueled his confidence, in 1985 Levin launched the Ashton Cigars brand. His goal was to satiate the changing desires of cigar smokers by capturing every market segment with unique blends.
While Levin created Asthon Cigars with decades of experience in retail, Pennsylvania is not known for its vast tobacco fields. For that expertise, Levin partnered with the world-renowned Fuente family. For more than 100 years Fuente's farms have grown the highest quality tobacco leaves. Between Carlos Fuente and his son Carlito, decades of dedication and experience are wrapped into every cigar.
Between the two families, they were able to create a variety of smoking experiences to suit every palette. Most importantly, each cigar comes with the quality control and exceptional flavor that cigar lovers expect from the names Ashton and Fuente.
