Collection: Rojas Cigars

Rojas Cigars means a lot here to us here at Renegade Cigar Lounge, with both of us calling the Dallas-Fort Worth area home. It’s not common that a company rolls their cigars in the US, but Rojas Cigars is rolling cigars right down the street from our lounge! 

 

Noel Rojas is originally from Cuba where he grew up farming and learning the tobacco business. After making cigars illegally, getting in trouble and wondering what to do next, he decided to make his way to America. Later on, in order to make his mark on the cigar business, Rojas moved to Nicaragua, where he started the highly accoladed and successful Guayucan Cigars. Rojas was unique in that he was not only a brand owner, but a factory owner as well. Being a factory owner is where the Rojas Cigar story meets the Renegade Cigar Lounge story, with Noel teaming up with Renegade Cigar Lounge owner, Brandon Hayes, to open his factory, Tabacalera NOA.

Looking for more though, and wanting to return to the US once again, Noel decided to re-group and re-brand, leading to Rojas Cigars being born in 2019. The story doesn’t end there though, because in 2022 Brandon and Noel are now working down the street from one another, with Rojas Cigar opening its factory right down the street from Renegade Cigars here in Richardson!
