Brandon’s Thoughts: As the name would apply, the Ashton Classic is a classic Dominican cigar that mild cigar smokers cannot ignore. Blended by Carlos Fuente Jr. for Ashton Cigars and made with Fuente’s best 3+ year old Dominican filler and binder tobaccos, the Ashton Classic is a cigar that I often recommend when I am educating customers on what I consider to be a near perfect model of what Dominican Connecticut cigars taste like. Nothing fancy, just creamy and balanced aged tobaccos. Tasting notes include: cream, mild white pepper and leather.
