Brandon's Thoughts: While Drew Estate is not typically known for making Shadegrown cigars, they did an excellent job with this medium bodied Connecticut blended Undercrown Shade. Drew Estate's master blender Willie Herrera utilizes traditional Nicaraguan tobaccos that have flavors of earthiness, graham cracker and just enough strength that you know you are smoking an Undercrown. However, this still has the typical creaminess that you would expect from a Connecticut wrapper. If you're a fan of the Undercrown Series, I'd recommend trying the Undercrown Shade.
