La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull 10th Anniversary Maduro

The La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull 10th Anniversary Maduro is a darker version of Cigar Aficionado's 2016 Cigar of the Year, released ten years after the original first shipped. LFD made 5,000 boxes of 10, and they started reaching retailers on October 7, 2026.

The shape didn't change. It's still 6.5 inches, 52 at the head and swelling to 64 near the foot, rolled from the same antique figurado mold Litto Gomez built the original around. The wrapper did. The Ecuadorian leaf on the original is gone, replaced with Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro. Underneath, the binder and filler are estate-grown on La Canela, LFD's farm in the Dominican Republic, and they come from the 2016 crop. Same year the first Bull hit shelves. That tobacco has had a full decade of fermentation and aging.

Litto's brief was simple: it had to be an Andalusian Bull, just darker and sweeter. Cigar Aficionado smoked an early sample and found it strong, rich, and sweet, with real complexity. Expect the Bull's full Dominican backbone with Broadleaf sweetness laid over it. Block off two hours.

Maduro vs. the Original Andalusian Bull

Wrapper — The original wears Ecuadorian leaf. The 10th Anniversary uses Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro, LFD's go-to for its darkest blends. That's where the added sweetness comes from.

Tobacco — Binder and filler come from LFD's own La Canela farm, all from the 2016 harvest and aged ten years before rolling.

Production — The original Bull is a limited annual release. The Maduro is capped at 5,000 boxes. When allocation is gone, it's gone.
