The wrapper is the same leaf that defines the entire H99 line: a hybrid of stalk-cut Habano and Connecticut Corojo, grown on a single farm in the Connecticut River Valley for Drew Estate alone. Under it sits a Mexican San Andrés Otapan Negro Último Corte binder. The filler pulls from three countries — Honduras, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania — and the Pennsylvania leaf is Green River One Sucker, a tobacco known for raw strength and depth of flavor.

The 60 ring gauge changes how the blend smokes. More filler in the bunch means more of the earth, leather, and espresso that Liga smokers expect, plus a woody, toasty core and a thread of dark fruit sweetness. It reads full-bodied but burns cool and slow, which is the point of the format. You get a longer session with the same private blend.
