The Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper pairs well with the Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and fillers. This is a rich, flavorful and complex medium to full bodied cigar. The dark Maduro wrapper with its additional 14 months of bourbon barrel aging brings out notes of chocolate, espresso and spice in the 20th Anniversary Maduro. While Perdomo's 20th Anniversary Maduro definitely pairs well with Bourbon, this cigar also pairs well with Cabernet Sauvignon.
