The Room101 Johnny Tobacconaut Maduro is Matt Booth's cult Tobacconaut blend pushed into darker, stronger territory. The original ran an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper; this one drops that for a full Nicaraguan puro under a dark maduro leaf. Johnny first launched as a 2015 limited release, came back as a regular line, and this maduro is its next evolution.

It's a Nicaraguan puro in the truest sense — maduro wrapper, binder, and filler all grown in Nicaragua, rolled at AJ Fernandez's factory in Estelí. That all-Nicaraguan core and the dark maduro wrapper are what push it full-bodied. Room101 sits under General Cigar, but the blend was built with AJ Fernandez, one of the most respected names working in Nicaraguan tobacco.

It's dense and rich start to finish. Earth, espresso, and dark cocoa lead, with pepper underneath and a depth that holds its intensity from the first third to the band. A full-strength cigar built for smokers who already run them. Not a daytime smoke — a sit-down one.
