Collection: Crux Cigars

Crux Cigars is different form a lot of brands, given that it was founded in 2014 by an independent cigar store owner, Jeff Haugen. While obviously knowing the cigar store business, Jeff had a lot to learn and had a lot of crossroads starting his own brand. That’s why the band is named Crux, “cross” in latin.

Starting with traveling to Nicaragua to learn everything he could about the business, Jeff eventually teamed up with the renowned Plasencia Family to produce his cigars their La Cathedral factory. Using only the finest tobaccos from a select number of farms in Nicaragua, Crux cigars is a true craft brand producing only a small lineup of offerings. 

Despite the small number of offerings though, Haugen has stayed true to his mission and has focused on quality over quantity. Every cigar has amazing construction and consistent great flavors. You can really tell Jeff Haugen’s roots come from the retail world because each and every cigar looks, tastes and smokes great!
