The ADVentura Barbarroja’s Invasion comes after the massive success of the King's Gold and the Queen's Pearls! The team at ADVentura Cigars knew they needed to follow up their successes with something special and this was their answer, taking over two years to create this dynamic blend.
The ADVentura Barbarroja’s Invasion combines a velvety Mexican San Andres wrapper over Dominican blinder and features Medio Tiempo tobacco fillers. The result is a medium-strength full flavored cigar that's as unique as the amazing musical packaging. There's tasting notes of cocoa, black pepper, wood and a hint of coffee. This is definitely ADVentura taking on the darker side of cigars and all the flavors really come together to create a dark, unique and complex blend.
The aging process is espeially unique too, with the raw tobacco being aged for 4-5 years and the cigars beign aged post-roll for an additinal 4-5 months. Henderson Ventura really knows his tobacco, and this unique blend is no exception. While limited in supply, this is a regular-oroduction blend, and we're very happy that it is!

It is at the top of my list of favorite full-body cigars without knocking you under the table with too much strength. I tried this with a tawny port, and it brought out the black currant flavors of the cigar. I hadn't noticed them as much before. I highly recommend this cigar as a great after-dinner treat.
For cigar in its price point I would say it qualifies in my top three of all time. It's complex from start to finish. It's a medium to medium full body cigar that offers the complexity but not in an overbearing way. It's worth picking up.
I was fortunate enough to meet the man that perfected this cigar,
what an honor and a great smoke.
If this limited edition retiurns, don't pass up the opportunity to procure this creation.
