The ADVentura Blackfin's Parlay is the truce. In ADVentura's ongoing pirate saga, it's the "parlay" — the peace struck between the warring crews of Barbarroja's Invasion and Blue Eyed Jack's Revenge. It first showed up in 2025 as a lone belicoso buried in the Captain's Collection sampler, blend undisclosed. In 2026 it got a refined recipe, three new sizes, and a full release.

The blend is almost entirely Dominican. An Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper in a Colorado shade sits over a Dominican binder and Dominican filler. Here's the part that matters: the binder and filler both come from ADV & McKay's own farm. It's the first cigar in the company's portfolio built on estate-grown tobacco. Henderson Ventura blends it and rolls it at Tabacalera Mina del Rey, the family's factory in the Dominican Republic.

It smokes medium. The Sumatra Colorado wrapper leads — cedar, sweet baking spice, a little black pepper, and an earthy backbone that stays smooth from light to nub. Easy enough for a newer smoker, deep enough to keep in rotation. And unlike the Barbarroja and Blue Eyed Jack boxes, this one stays quiet: no recorded sound clip when you lift the lid. The cigar does the talking.

Choosing Your Size

Corona (6x44) — The slim ring gauge concentrates the draw and sharpens the wrapper. This is the cleanest read on the cedar and spice, and the lowest entry price in the line.

Robusto (5x52) — Shorter and thicker. Denser smoke, more filler in play, in a classic hour-long format. If you're buying one size to judge the blend, buy this.

Toro (6x54) — The widest ring gauge. Burns cooler and slower, so the flavors open up gradually over a longer, unhurried session.
