The Long Live the King Mad Mofo showcases two sides of Caldwell’s most aggressive blend, each driven by a completely different wrapper but built on the same high-powered core.

At its foundation is a complex filler blend featuring Corojo ’98 and Pennsylvania double ligero, supported by additional tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and the United States, all held together with an Indonesian binder. From there, the profile splits into two distinct directions.

The Habano version uses a Dominican Habano wrapper, delivering a sharper, spice-forward experience. Expect pronounced black pepper, dry earth, and a cleaner, more linear strength that highlights the intensity of the blend without overwhelming it.

The Maduro expression takes a darker path with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. This version leans richer and heavier, layering in notes of cocoa, leather, and dense earth while maintaining a steady backbone of spice. The sweetness from the wrapper rounds the edges and adds depth, creating a more robust and full-bodied profile overall.

Both are available in a 5.7 x 43 corona format, a size that concentrates flavor and amplifies strength. Handmade in the Dominican Republic and presented in boxes, the Mad Mofo line stands as the most unapologetic extension of Long Live the King.
